Teck Cominco faced a crisis when contract workers cleaning a smelter furnace contracted a heavy metal in their systems. PEAK Communicators immediately set to work to understand what happened, to work on messaging and respond to media.

Media scanning started at 5:30 am daily so media reports were in the hands of executives by 8 am daily. We handled media calls, media advisories and organized a national press conference.
