Top 3 reasons you are no longer a PR
Back in April, a memo from Gordon Fisher, Postmedia’s Pacific Newspaper Group president and publisher, leaked to the public. The memo spoke of voluntary buyouts at the Vancouver Sun and the Province. The buyouts would be followed by forced layoffs. In stark terms he laid out the future of the newsroom: “If there is anyone left who truly believes we can wait this out, or rely on ‘hope’, you are not mindful of reality,” Fisher wrote.
