Vice President
Ross developed his PR credentials by spending more than 25 years in the media as a writer, editor and TV producer/director. He then joined up with Jeff and Alyn to create PEAK, a PR firm that was the right size and the right mix to give clients the media attention and strategies they need.
A consummate media pitcher, Ross knows how to write, package and sell the story to the media with impressive results. He’s developed extensive relationships and contacts across Canada and the US because of his straight handling and serving up stories that media can really use. His first TV work was with the American broadcaster ABC Sports’ coverage of Montreal’s Summer Olympics in 1976 before moving west to Vancouver to work in TV production and magazine publishing.
Ross also loves to organize and produce events. Not only has he done a range of press conferences, launch events and elaborate sales presentations, he produced the Baseball Classic at BC Place stadium, which attracted 100,000 fans over a two-day period and helped to organize GM Place: The Inaugural Celebration, which featured more than 500 performers playing to a crowd of 16,000.
Ross graduated from Montreal’s Concordia University with a Bachelor of Arts degree (Communications) and also has a Master of Publishing degree from Simon Fraser University. He loves to get great media coverage results, loves to play hockey, and loves to hear “He shoots…he scores!” whenever he does either.
Oh, Ross also published the Hockey Pool Guide Book for 19 years.
