Account Director

A Peak Communicator since 2006, Sheila works directly with clients to achieve their goals and leads teams within Peak to meet client’s needs. She specializes in writing and editing, event planning, stakeholder communications, media relations, communications strategizing and counsel, and crisis management.

Prior to joining Peak, she was a radio reporter and producer for CKNW News-Talk 980. Sheila has been awarded numerous journalism awards for her work, including the George Garrett Scholarship Award and Jack Webster Student Journalism Award.

Sheila has earned her Broadcast and Media Communications-Journalism diploma from BCIT as well as a BA from Simon Fraser University. She spent seven years working in the banking industry before making a move to PR. Sheila understands business, communications and the media – and serves up fabulous homemade waffles to the Peak team once a month.
