CEO rocks mining event, Ceridian educates media HR solutions, SFU student engages green tech
This past week, Peak worked to earn coverage for a Vancouver-based client attending a mining conference in New York City. By researching the media partners of the conference weeks before, we lined up interviews for VMS Ventures Inc.’s CEO Rick Mark. Do you know what a human resources outsourcing solution is? Not many do, which is why we developed a service awareness building campaign for our client, Ceridian Communications Group. The issue: small business have a hard time justifying the cost of full-time HR personnel. The solution: line up media interviews for the president of Ceridian Canada, Dave McKay, to share highlights from the just released Pulse of Talent Survey. This gave us a news hook to interest the media, and McKay the chance to talk to the pros of outsourcing HR.
SFU student Wes Regan’s company, Urban Stream Innovations, was featured on a popular blog, Vancouver Is Awesome (VIA), for their scalable technology that turns organic waste into fresh food. We arranged the interview with VIA to highlight an SFU Faculty of Environment Geography graduate turned green-tech entrepreneur who is working to improve the Downtown Eastside of Vancouver.
