CPRS Event: New York Pro Shares PR Predictions

Simply put, every time the principals of Peak Communicators in Vancouver have the opportunity to hear PR pro Ken Makovsky speak it changes the way we think of public relations and the way we do business.

Peak partner Ross Sullivan and I first heard Ken speak at an international public relations conference in New York two years ago. We also toured his top tier PR company to gain first-hand knowledge of how his 60 consultants, spread over five divisions, serve Fortune 500 companies.

We came back from that experience and proceeded to make one of our best business decisions: to start a social media division within our company.

Since then, we have kept in touch with Ken and he has helped guide us to where we need to be as a full service PR company, offering a suite of services with best practices.

Ross and I have found that what occurs in our industry in the  States usually takes about two years to filter through to Canadian practice. So the insights Ken will share with you will be relevant to your work in the future. Definitely worth being ahead of the curve by learning about them now at this week’s CPRS Speaker Series Breakfast event.
