Case Study: Theatre Under the Stars
Iconic outdoor Vancouver theatre production, Theatre Under the Stars (TUTS), looked to Peak Communicators in 2010 to help increase its visibility in the public and media. Peak implemented an aggressive media relations campaign, engaging stakeholders through news stories, blog posts, feature articles, reviews, television and radio programs. An extraordinary year ensued, with more than 116 media hits and 51 online mentions earned. The TUTS summer musical theatre camps for aspiring stars saw an unprecedented 80 per cent boost in attendance year-over-year, and TUTS also celebrated its first major corporate season sponsorship with TD Canada Trust. Peak’s partnership with TUTS continues today.
